We correct an error in a recent article on the UK pledge to the Global Fund.
A GFO article on the announcement of the UK pledge to the Global Fund, dated 24 September, erroneously stated that Switzerland had already announced its pledge for 2014–2016. Switzerland has not yet done so.
Marc De Santis, Switzerland’s Program Manager for Multilateral Affairs in charge of relations with the Global Fund, told GFO that the only statement Switzerland has public made so far is that it plans to “considerably increase its contribution to the Global Fund.”
We regret any inconvenience caused by the error.
